Theatre Classes at Center Stage Spring 8 Week Sessions April 23 – June 12 $200.00 (60 minute class) $15.00 Registration fee for new students Theatre Basics Learn the “Basics” of theatre in this fun and exciting class where students will explore acting, story telling, puppetry, pantomime, improvisation, theatre games, music, movement and more. Students discover creativity through exploring many facets of performing with emphasis on development of self-esteem, self-confidence and personal expression. Beginners (Grades 1-2) Thursdays 4:00-5:00 Junior (Grades 3,4,5) Wednesdays 4:15-5:15 A Chorus Line (Grades 6-7-8) Thursdays 5:15-6:15 Students explore music and dance skills by rehearsing a portion of a new musical number from a different Broadway show each week. Teen Acting Thursdays 6:30-7:30 Students explore their dramatic skills through deep engagement in Improvisation, Character Development, and Scene study. This class is designed to help students free their creativity, and feel comfortable in front of an audience. Choral Group (Grades 3-12) Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 Raise your voices in this class that focuses on, vocal technique and placement, dynamics and song interpretation.
